I’ve become very fond of octopuses they are extremely smart. Check out some interesting vids on YouTube if you don’t believe me oh & sweet too lol saw a video that recognised a diver who would visit the octopus on & off & it would try to communicate with her in its way lol. Totally worth watching it left me wanting a lil octopus friend lol. From the ones I’ve seen the prettiest is one you wouldn’t want to get too close to the blue ringed octopus, it seems small things really pack a punch (or worse) in nature sometimes.

True!!! My husband and I were just talking about the plural.

Octopi are so smart, we humans should really treat them with respect and kindness, and leave those poor creatures alone

* Seshati *, The problem with getting too emotionally close to one is that they have such short life spans. Seems cruel for such a beautiful, intelligent creature.

I actually saw an Octopus that had been found in a rock pool on New Brighton Beach Merseyside last year I had never seen a wild one before it made my day especially when the young girl that had found it said she was putting him back as soon as the tide came in

Grant, Did you learn about this from the Syfy show "Resident Alien"? Octopi are definitely extraterrestrial!
