I missed this one. I was thinking of Yeats. "What foul beast slouches toward Bethlehem?" This one also appears in "The Stand," King's greatest book (IMO). And it was Dylan Thomas who wrote, "Do not go gentle into the good night. Rage! Rage! against the dying of the light."
