The Isle of Skye is a lovely place to visit I spent. A week there in August this year if you ever get the chance go for it.

luckycatfay,
Eilean Ban is a small island about 6acres in size, and the bridge uses it as a 'stepping stone' to get to the mainland. It's a tiny place and doesn't have any permanent inhabitants.☺

Hope to return for a visit to The Highlands next time.

zonkford21
love that place

Player Eldehem
We spent a week there, and stayed a stones' throw away from the beach where 'Ring of Bright Water' author Gavin Maxwell had his cottage. It's a ruin now, just the outline in stone, but still a place of pilgrimage there

I'm lucky in that I live in the Scottish Highlands. It is indeed very beautiful although some places could be better described as ruggedly beautiful.
