I love when people ask me where I'm from and I say New York, and then go on to say something like "I've always wanted to see the Statue of Liberty" or "I would love to see the 9/11 memorial" and then I say "Me too!" and then they say "You live in New York and never seen the Statue of Liberty!". Nope sure haven't there's a whole lotta state not just NYC. I live by Buffalo people we exist too! Its just funny that people forget its a whole state.

ABrokenSoul, I myself grew up on Staten Island but I now live in Saint Lawrence county near the Canadian boarder. North New York is so under recognized even by other people in the state.
