I think the question refers to "Unchained Melody" being the movie's theme song and being played over some scenes rather than that it was played too much. I guess the question could have been stated more clearly.

nimblemoon, I saw the movie, and I loved it, even though I didn't like seeing Sam get killed (I love Patrick Swayze, and the rest of the cast was impressive too - Whoopi & Demi - what's not to love?) - I liked the music too and didn't think it was overdone. Your comment indicated that you thought "Unchained Melody" was overplayed, meaning played too much, but I think the question was referring to the fact that the song was the movie's theme song & was played over some scenes.

Don’t know how true it is but I heard somewhere that they’re thinking of doing a reboot, personally I wouldn’t. Ghost was and still is a great story about the enduring power of love between two people and Whoopie Goldberg was amazing as the medium.
