Yana, I live in far west Texas and planted one when we first moved to our home 27 years ago. It did really well but started to die last summer. Part of it is still alive but I don’t think it will survive next summer. Our neighbor had a peach tree that is doing the same. 😢

I recently came to live in a valley in part of the Rockies in the USA and need to replace a dead pine tree right out front of the house. A cherry blossom would look lovely, I wonder if it would flourish.
