Typical of the New Zealand justice system with too many cases. Innocent people go away for half their lives.. because of their desperation to hold someone accountable. It’s disgusting.

Jera, no it was found to be in the water supplied to his property. He didn't add the arsenic himself. Also it was in his and their child's systems, making it highly unlikely he was poisoning his wife.

happitoa2315, he was later found innocent and I think that is why they abolished it except for treason. You may remember William Bull Satch in the 1980s facing the death penalty for meeting Russian agents in Te Aro in Wellington. The death penalty for treason is now abolished too.
