I seem to remember it was Judy Carne who was the sock-it-to-me girl. (?)

JasonR1972, You are absolutely correct! Smart, funny, talented, and sensitive actress - one of my favorites - loved her in Overboard.
Player Ejag
I remember when Pres Nixon said Sock it to me on the show!
John T
Judy Carne was the “sock it to me girl.”

this is in need of correction.

this question needs to be CORRECTED and credit given. either 2 choices were correct or the really correct one (judy carne) was not listed at all.
Player #14777206
This is incorrect. it was Judy Carne. she was married to Burt Reynolds for a time.

I think that line was most often said by Judy Carne.

Everyone on the show said it, even Pres. Nixon came on the show and said it.

My hometown (Crystal City, Texas) once got Laugh In's "Fickle Finger of Fate award." I'm not certain, but I think it was for the school board refusing to allow a Latina girl join the all white cheerleading squad when the students elected her. that, in turn, led to a Walk Out at all of the public schools, and a huge upset at the city council elections that November. Good Times! ✌️1968!!

ChampionNymph37634, Love Overboard! I also remember seeing her in Butterflies are Free and Cactus Flower, back in the day. Really talented actress.
Lash
bubbakush57, I completely agree! I came here to comment that it was Just Carne's phrase. Although, I believe Goldie had it painted on her body somewhere. Lol!
thom
Judy Carne's line.
Maya
Three out the four people listed were on Laugh In. Goldie Hawn, Lily Tomlin & Chelsea Brown were all on the show but Judy Carne was the original and main "Sock it to me" person.
Tina
bubbakush57, I too think it was Judy Carne who said that. I recall both women were funny!
Player GDFeats

Player #14451529
Player #7106191,that's the way l remember it too...they all said it, but Judy Carne said it more than the rest!!

Love Goldie!!
MamaBooCee1
The original cast member of that comedy show that said "SOCK IT TO ME" - WAS JUDY CARNE. This question was far too ambiguous, both answers of Goldie Hawn and Lily Tomlin should have been correct according to the wording of the question. Both were regulars for a time. But Carne was the original and known for it, and a regular.
SQinfoNUTS
it was a Kinder and gentler time. Why even Richard Nixon appeared on Laugh-In saying (most uncomfortably) **sock it to me?**
