The only ones that survived were the ones who didn't follow standard safety procedures. I worked with Oxy at the time, it was a horrendous experience, I knew of so many who didn't survive.

I can't help but wonder if the young man, boy really at age 14, who crashed his father's truck head-on into my school bus and died was of relation to Mr. Adair; his name was Randall Ray Adair. That was a very sad day.

Player Elf Counsel, The opening scene in Hellfighters shows a bunch of standard derricks right outside of Baytown, Tx. My father drilled many of those wells in the 1930's.
