If you actually research what happened to King, you'll find that his murder wasn't so cute and dry. Remember, the victors write history, and MANY times the victors are Liars, Educated Manipulators, Cheaters, Thieves, and will do just about ANYTHING to further themselves. With that said, I will ALWAYS question the 'Truth' that is written and spread by the Powers That Be because MOST of the time, they're lies masquerading as Truth. May King rest in peace knowing that there are still a few of us that care about the Real history of our lives.

in a trailbin 1999. The government was found guilty in a memphis courtroom. it is the only murder trial ever held for MLKjr. James Earl Ray only confessed to the crime because the fbi tricked him into it saying he would never get a fair trial if he didnt. He swore he didnt do it all the way to his dying day in prison. Look it up.

Plus, your comment suggests an lack of first hand knowledge of the social context in which King emerged as a leader for civil rights. In fact one of his criticisms was that people were always telling him that it " it was not the right time", and his question was that if "NOW was not the right time then WHEN"? His timing for his peaceful organized marches were in response to the rallies and laws that were being acted out and supported by bigoted institutions and organizations. If not Now, then When? Comparing King and his followers to a terrorist group is a gross accusation, and demonstrates your ignorance of the facts.

he died way to soon. whoever killed him will not receive a moment of peace or forgiveness unless their is repentance. All life matters. live each day like it is your last. love one another then their would be no room for hate.

An amazing man who set the bar high. Examples like Ghandi and Mother Teresa similarly taught us how to love and live by example.

Webfish, I'm not singling you out for defending James Earl Ray, but he's not the first nor last to swear that he didn't do "it" until their dying day in prison. (Whether "it" is murder, robbery or whatever, most say that.)

I remember I was 11 and we had a peaceful March from the top of Main Street to our church which was the African Methodist Episcopal Church for a program honoring him.

It does not matter who killed him. We will never know the whole truth. It matters that his message, struggle & fight lives on. Losing him was a travesty of humanity; losing the message, the struggle & the fight is even more so! Fruition of the message will be the Victory!

People are racist in this world..and if you ever watched the movie about him it was so heartbreaking, today the world is still like this.. White people might say, "White lives matter most", black people might "Black lives matter the most" but we see commercials were even on kid friendly shows it just says "Black lives matter".
