Appropriately enough, Johnny Western sang the theme song, which is one of my favorite TV themes. Distinct, deep voice, catchy melody.

I loved this show and all of the old westerns. Richard Boone was a descendant of Daniel Boone. If I remember correctly so is Randy Boone who was on The Virginian. He is a wonderful singer.

Ah yes, that old fairy tale still persists - the brave, gun-totin' loner out to save the world. Except these days it's a dysfunctional misfit totin' an AR-15. Pathetic.

SneakyMole92698. I'm a Baby Boomer, and used to watch Have Gun ... Will Travel with my grandparents when I was little. Although he wasn't handsome, I loved Palladin/Richard Boone because he was so cool and smooth.
