i was born in 1976 and VERY clearly remember the Marlboro man on tv.
WaldoLydeker
In addition to the Marlboro Man, we had Joe Camel, the Kool penguin, the black-eyed Tareyton man who would rather fight than switch, the Lucky Strike chorus girls only showing their lovely limbs, "Call for Philip Morris" bellboy. The other biggies, I can't recall their TV ads: Pall Mall, Salem, Winston (tastes good like a cigarette should), Parliament, Chesterfield, Kent, L&M, Viceroy, Newport. Aren't you all glad that the ads have gone the way of their users, oblivion. And, no, I've never smoked.........cigarettes. Ha ha, like Count Dracula responded "I never drink....wine."

KookyOrangutan5005, my husband and I smoked regularly for years and when we sold our house we took down the drapes in the living room and the gunk on the windows was DISGUSTING. Kind of embarrassing to admit, but there it is. We had quit before we moved to our new house, but that made us decide to never smoke again!
