His body was treated for preservation & has been on display in a glass case for many years since his death. I’m not Russian & don’t know all the facts but have seen articles over the years that featured photographs. Hmm morbidly interesting I guess .. they tried the same thing with Eva ‘Evita’ Peron although I seem to remember hearing that it did not go so well with her body so after a viewing world tour she was eventually buried in a marble crypt or something to that effect.
