What animal is pictured here?

The red wolf is completely different I. the US. it's descended from some intermingling with the coyote, nearly extinct but being reintroduced to the wild. I've seen them at the Point Defiance Zoo in Tacoma. And that looks a lot like a jackal of some type. Oh well.

But the Red Wolf is brown

I took one look and knew it was not a wolf. Don't know what it is but I know for sure it's not a wolf.
