Does anyone else play this at 3 am when you can't sleep?
limbo
nurses instead of doctors
Stefan Lange
common for chefs to have this injury

Because "March" was capitalized, my mind went off course associating it with the month. I used my 50/50 button for the first time. For that matter, I've never used any buttons period. But when the choices were foot and hand, it hit me. Does anyone care?
John Douglas
I had the same fractures in the Marine Corps running up and down hills all day long at Camp Pendleton California.

Why dies the picture show the hip bone?
Fandazz1
Very painful condition. I can no longer wear any shoes that tie, causing pressure to my feet. It's terribly inconvenient during the winter if it snows.

Great question
jellywobbles1
anyone on their feet for long periods of times in ill fitting shoes
goodLuck1111
I ware orthotics now what a difference my life has been!!
Roxanne
WearyBeagle58457, if the word “March” wasn’t enough of a hint, an X-ray of a foot would have made it too easy.
Procrastus
crazy cat, 2.58 when I read this …
Rufus
The picture is misleading as it shows an x-ray of a hip socket and head of a femur (thigh bone)
Rufus
crazy cat - oh, WAY too often!
ILLY
I don't find honest to showup a picture of hip replacement.

Frank , hey I have neck issues too. Look up Dosaze pillows. They have a great one for neck issues. It has helped me sleep.
Mothergoose72
I work in a warehouse. On my feet 8-10 hrs a day, minus breaks and lunch. I learned good shors, inserts, and compression socks are the way to my survival.
Frank
crazy cat, I regularly end up playing this. Have suffered with insomnia since I broke my neck, and playing games keeps me sane during those ridiculous non sleep nights.
carla
crazy cat, yes!!
barb
crazy cat, I've been known to do that on occasion, but I wasn't aware I had company! Nice to know you! Have fun! This is a great game!

I was in the Army Infantry and these fractures were not too rare.

Too easy!!!

Soak your feet in epsom salt and hot water. Add rosemary essential oil. Then apply arnica cream. I used to do this for my husband after his miles long hikes was 60 pound packs when he was in the Marine Corps and it really helped save his feet.
Kinser
WaldoLydeker, I guessed hand too. I was thinking month not soldiers! Don’t know where March = hand came from in my brain!

At least nurses get breaks

crazy cat, Yes...I just so happened to check the time. It's 2:55 A.M. 😳😁🤣😅😂

limbo, Certified nursing assistants like myself as well.

It's true that plenty of new recruits get stress fractures. Oddly I had never heard "march" fracture despite serving but it's a fitting name for sure.
Cathy
crazy cat, yup, I’ve played in the middle of the night 😜
Christine ~ RN
limbo, I was just thinking the exact same thing. As a nurse I know what the stress that hours and hours on my feet has done to my body....5 orthopedic surgeries and 1 pending. To be fair, though, surgeons and ER physicians spend long hours on their feet too.
Kimbo
Fandazz1, try wearing toe separator socks. It helps to separate the toes
Joyous one
WearyBeagle58457, it's an XRAY of foot, see toes on top.

Also a very common fracture for footballers (soccer players) to get.
Khosi
crazy cat, I do... 🙄
Amy
Now I know why that body part hurts

limbo,
I respectfully disagree. Perhaps change your comment to nurses AND doctors. As a critical care physician, I am always on my feet and am thankful for any brief moment to just sit. I've not only had march fractures but also suffer from chronic back and knee pain.
Donna
I am almost a young 73 and wear a size 4 shoe...currently have a broken bone in foot that gives me no pain but my toes are separated
Rick-N-Bacher
WearyBeagle58457, cause it's connected to the leg bone
