I was lucky to pet and handfeed lemurs in Australia in one of the wildlife parks, these creatures are the cutest things I've ever seen, - they have hands that reminds of human hands, - warm palms, fingers, nails, it was an experience I'd never forget!

i guess that means their specific predator, the fossa, is also only in Madagascar? there was a wildlife park near my home. they kept their one fossa next to the lemurs. the lemurs leapt, ran, jumped & played while the fossa paced. it eventually went mad, had to be put down. so cruel.
