Player #96919, We went to the Titanic Exhibition in Melbourne. A two day drive for us but worth it. Incredible what has survived. On entering we were each given the identity of a real passenger and on exit discovered our fate. I was a second class lady whose had drowned and my husband. was a third class man who had survived! I was a bit miffed.

ConsequentDessert10, I very much doubt pirates have sofisticated sonar equipment to go down to the depths where the wreck lies never mind bring up valuable items

I remember going to that exhibit in Detroit. Mine, I vaguely recall, was a second class dude that lived

When we were in Las Vegas, we went on the Titanic exhibit. My boarding pass was a first class woman returning with her 2 son's to the US. She survived, her boys didn't. My husband was a third class young man that drowned.

Player Elf Counsel, we went to the one in Orlando, Florida. Deeply moving. I thought the boarding tickets we received (like yours) were such a interesting touch. I was a third class 19 year old who was off to join a nunnery in the US who died (she was due to sail two months previously, but the ticket clerk persuaded her to wait for the new luxury cruise liner!), my partner was a very wealthy first class man who survived (but he did go down with the ship, but managed to clamber on an overturned lifeboat). Like you I was slightly peeved too!!

The relics up for auction are from thieves who stole them after they had been recovered. Shoddy records probably lost dozens if not hundreds of items.
