Rita Quick, give it time, as a trekkie since the 70s I've seen many of the ideas become reality. I too would love to beam to work :)

I just wish they would go ahead and develope the Transporter so we could use it in real time travel like they did mobile cell phones for wire-less communication. LOL!

Shoot! I guessed "Thaddeus." I was probably thinking about "Alias Smith & Jones". Anyone remember that show?

I love the shows. im fascinated by their technology!

MrOatcake2772
Trekky all the way. I used to watch this as a kid with my Dad. I now teach Science at High school. Must have had some kind of effect.

Kirk is the BEST captain ! An incredible inspiration for life. Especially true in the “I need my pain” speech from “The Final Frontier”. Sisko and Archer are also both great captains. Deep Space Nine is probably the most underrated series in all the franchises.

Misty
HazelTwigg, I absolutely love Alias Smith & Jones. I own the series on DVD. And I am still sad over Pete Duel.

l love Star Trek ! All of them . It's kind of a show of hope .But I don't think we'll ever get to this point .

On the episode, “Where No Man Has Gone Before,” Kirk’s middle name started with an R according to the tombstone that Gary Mitchell created for his grave.

Treky Forever 💯

Kirk was assigned to the USS Farragut, not the Republic

SIX-FINGERED MAN, I remember hearing somewhere that that was his middle name, but I don't remember it being mentioned until he was on trial in one of the movies (maybe "The Undiscovered Country"?).

But where does Tiberius come from.

the original Star Trek is the best

I saw the very first episode ever aired in 1966. I still watch the original series. I love Kirk, but my favorite is Spock. Watch closely for Scotty as he's missing a middle finger on his right hand (pretty sure). He got it shot off during a war prior to acting on Star Trek. I'm a trekkie, but this one taught me new things about Kirk.

Missed this one. Thought sure Kirk's middle name would be "Thomas". Sounds more "earthlike", I guess. Oh well, I can live with "Tiberious". Liked the TV show & it broke ground on ideas that have since become reality. Cell phones, for example.

Tibearis Turk I called him lol my brain farted maybe
