What is the legislative capital in Sri Lanka?

That's like saying Westminster is the capital of England... incorrect

the capital is colombo. The answers are missleading.

I pressed Colombo, then thought, why did they write 'legislative capital?' then heard the gong of pain.

sandrap, Not misleading because the SUBURB of Colombo has a name which they bring their government buildings to there.

From then until the 1980s the national capital of the island was Colombo. During the 1980s plans were made to move the administrative capital to Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte and thus move all governmental institutions out of Colombo to make way for commercial activities.
