Cait, that's where I live, Fredericksburg, VA about 4 minutes from where he grew up. They were actually going to build a Walmart on where they suspected his boyhood home was, but since there was no "proof" they were going to go through with it. They finally decided to build it a mile down the road, thank God, because they found the remains of his house later but could not find it before because it had burned down. We officially have signs now that say "George Washington's boyhood home" throughout the city.
