people, the question is about swiss cheese, not american. So don't be upset when it cames to other places, foods, cultures etc than only american.

Blooply, Swiss-German here and I can confirm that even here in Switzerland we call them holes. And I never heard anything even remotely similar to 'blind cheese'!

Where can I find some of that blind cheese? I love Swiss cheese, actually love all cheeses and don’t give a crumb what country it comes from. Wisconsin is the dairy state in the US; or at least, it used to be. When I was a kid, getting something from Switzerland or Germany was a rare treat. Now you can almost get anything anywhere in the world. Not so special anymore.

If the question refers to cheese made in Switzerland or originally from there and not to American cheese, then it's holes

Player #28029143, that was true in the past. These days there are some excellent cheeses made in the USA.

Oregon has great cheese. Especially Tillamook and Rogue.
