I saw Waylon in concert. His performance was smooth and entertaining. He opened for Hank Jr who was too loud and pompous.

My family were able to go to the Duke's Fest many years ago and were able to meet many cast members. We were only allowed two autographs though, Jon Schneider and James Best. There were hundreds of General Lees and I remember the cast singing "Good Ol' Boys" at one point on stage. Fun times! Even though I was in a wheelchair, having recently been released from the hospital with 3 pulmonary embolisims.
