I bought a kit at Lowe's on sale during Christmas time. it came with soil, moss, pots, and not only a Venus Fly trap root and sprout, but also another carnivorous plant called a Pitcher plant. They are jist starting to grow. But they don't take all that much care. basically water and not much sun.

venus flytrap is a insectivorous plant which can make their own food by using sunlight as it's green and having the presence of chlorophyll but still the hunt insects to fullfil the deficiency of nitrogen as the area where they grow have lack of nitrogen
