I bought a kit at Lowe's on sale during Christmas time. it came with soil, moss, pots, and not only a Venus Fly trap root and sprout, but also another carnivorous plant called a Pitcher plant. They are jist starting to grow. But they don't take all that much care. basically water and not much sun.

And just like that I understand why my VFT’s always died even though I fed it flies I had swatted. Amazing info and I’m now going to buy one and try again!
