I've been going to Vegas for almost 20 years. The casino gambling has gone down some, because of gambling is now available on the internets and anyone can gamble from anywhere as long as you have internet connection. Now the Strip will always be packed with tourists, and Paradise, the rest of Las Vegas continues to grow every year as more and more people move there.

A cool place to visit for a variety of activities.

what you might contract in Vegas doesn't stay in Vegas.. on the other hand, I do love Vegas

Been to Las Vegas it's so beautiful at night and the hotels are fantastic hope to go back soon.

LittleTragedy7
we stayed in a motel for $10 a night and meals started at $1.99 to 4.99 that was early 1980's. love Vegas only place I ever win.

Christian
Vegas actually was a better place when the mob ran the casinos. Corporate entities don’t really understand or value hospitality like they should because they are always so concerned with the bottom line.

Went to Vegas in 80's & 90's. Stayed @ The Dunes, The Sands, The Flamingo, etc....all the hotels/casinos with a lot of history. Magical. So sad all have been destroyed.
Those places were what made Las Vegas so famous (or infamous).

Thunderduck
Remember driving to Las Vegas after the sunset. Saw the glow on the horizon and thought "Almost there," Then saw the sign that said Las Vegas 90 miles... What a dark and empty state. The stargazer in me loved it though...

When I stayed in LV back in the 80's, Ceasars Palace charged us between $80-$100 per night. When I went back in 2000, stayed at the Mandalay Bay for $200 per night
we did get comped by the hotel staff, for the room and that was 19 years ago.

LittleTragedy7
~(DragonReborn)~, I believe it because we want to NYC but took Metra in and used subway to get where we wanted to go . Cost to park is to high.
