What is a trebuchet?

I knew this one because my son had to build one in college & it took months for the rain to wash off all the eggs that landed on the roof.

There was one that was at Warwick Castle that got damaged by fire in a demonstration they rebuilt it but what a disaster good job they weren't firing at the castle itself.

Leebo13, they aren't the same thing. A trebuchet uses a counterweight to generate force while a catapult uses tension. The result is similar but the physics involved are different.

Sometimes the corpses of people dead by plague days earlier were used. Ah War, will it stop when we've devised methods of destruction that even people won't use. How bad does it have to get.
