In Vietnam one of my prized possessions in the field was a bottle of Tabasco sauce. Used it to spice up C ration meals which were pretty terrible

Visit Avery Island if you get the chance. Along with the tabasco history there are alligators, egrets, and gardens to see. A great little ecosystem.

I lived in New Orleans & they talked about swamp food a lot... There's a type of rat I'm not sure how to spell it - Nutreese?? - that was an ingredient of Tabasco until recently cuz people in other areas of the country were grossed out by it being an ingredient. But it was regular food in the swamp.

Shopitz, I was born in Vietnam , I usedTabasco sauce since I was 8, put on French bread with butter , soysause and sprinkled with Tabasco sauce, all my kids loved it and my grandkids too, try it
