It’s james marshall who found the gold and John sutter owned the mill. My family owned the property that James Marshall lived and died. My grandfather bought it for $10 in 1930.

my best friends family lived just a few blocks from there. I wanted to go there. As soon as we got there we started walking into it, it was dark outside and there was a very eerie feeling. They told me it was haunted because so many were murdered there.. I don't know if it's true or not.. So we ran to the car. Lol!
