charlesjw1959, Forrest Gump was phenomenal. A lesser known film that Hanks was tremendous in was The Terminal. Hanks plays a man from a fictitious country who arrives in the US at the exact moment that his country has gone thru a coup and is now no longer recognized by the United States. So he is stuck at the airport unable to enter or leave. So he lives in the terminal al for over a year and affects the lives of many of the airport employees.
