Wendell Thomas, Located in eastern Kansas near a dot on the map called West Mineral. It is not easiest attraction to find but well worth the effort.
The reason for being remote is because the exhibit and small museum/curio shop are located where the shovel stopped digging decades ago. The museum provides a lot of info. This a FUN family stop!
