JezzerLX, if you read the poem, it says "Sweet and Low, sweet and Low, the West wind, breathe and blow, my love back to me" (this is not word for word).
So he really speaks of the princess asking that the sweet and low western wind blow her lover back to her. Beautiful. 💜
