JezzerLX, We have Aldi here in Australia and they are far better than Coles or Woolworths. Not just cheaper but their goods are superior. Especially their chocolate and dairy... Oh, and their cleaning products really clean.

I do a lot of my shopping in both Lidl and Aldi. Overall, I prefer Lidl, but there's are a few Aldi products that are better. We save a lot of money by avoiding the big supermarkets.

In Germany, Lidl is known for great produce, but the US Lidl near me doesn't have great produce, and very little of it is organic. They have fresh-baked bread, but it's all white bread, except for one multigrain loaf, which is mostly white flour. So, no thanks.
