Obviously, this is a matter if taste, but I fell in love with his architectural artistry featuring clean, geometric designs occasionally influenced by Japanese form and function.

I must disagree with all of you. I've been to Falling Waters twice. It is still beautiful. And any man-made creation can only last as long as the care put into it. This would include marriage, by the way....

his base in Arizona was called Taliesen West but his most famous structure is now known as Falling Water somewhere in pennsylvania. its uniquely situated over a real stream that flows underneath the house and can be seen from the living room. it's open to the public too as a museum. Well worth the trip Fascinating how he did it.

He was a gifted architect but in his private life he was a cad. Friends used to own the house he designed in my home town. it had to be finished by an assistant because he abandoned his wife and large family and ran off to Europe with his mistress.
