Not really an accurate description of British bacon as it can also be in strips. It just depends whether you're buying back bacon or streaky bacon, and neither of them are round anyway. Photo made me hungry. 😀

Not accurate we can get different types of bacon in the UK, there's back bacon, streaky bacon, and then there's Middle Bacon - which looks a bit like both put together, which is much more rounder than anything else... Oh, and then there's the medallions, which are also circle

As a Brit we don't have round bacon that's gammon. Also we have smoked and none smoked. Also streaky and normal bacon. I don't know where they get this from. The bacon in the picture is what we usually eat

We also eat streaky bacon from the belly in the UK. Most of the bacon here is cured by using nitrites, but there is research which shows that this could contribute to developing cancer, so I don't eat much of it these days
