Pure artistic Genius !

like Teller & Harpo, Chaplin did indeed "talk" though audiences needed wait for technology to catch-up to his genius.
Charles spoke out against tyrany and human rights abuses passionately at the dawn of WWII.
1940's The Great Dictator makes farce of pre-war affairs in humorous Chaplin style then concludes with a fiery, excoriating plea to beware the dangers and murderous abuses that soon engulfed Europe.

From what I've learned about Charlie Chaplin through Wikipedia, books about him and YouTube videos, is that in my opinion he was a very compassionate and sensitive soul. After watching his movies, his antics and dancing make my sides hurt from laughing so hard.
