My grandma lived in Philly and it was the first place I ever saw and savored a soft pretzel. Some of the street carts had inscriptions referring to PA being the birthplace of the pretzel.

N00bPixie56523, it is! the photo really helped me on this one, I recognized the picture immediately, as my son I went there two years ago and visited. very interesting history.the rest of the town of lititz is quite interesting as well. is a very old chocolate factory there that was making chocolate buds which look like Hershey kisses long before Milton Hershey ever got the idea.

I have been to the Sturgis Pretzel Factory and visitors get to twist the dough into a pretzel shape. Fun place. Lititz is a great small town, also home to the Wilbur Chocolate Company.
