Smile4uhun, this is why modern readers can't understand middle English. I tried to read Geoffrey Chaucer book but o couldn't.

Player #48458, some of us can, but you have to sort of 'interpolate', and guess at the missing words according to context. But when you're hard of hearing like me, you do that a lot anyhow.

TwoTin16, I found Russian to be difficult to learn due to the difference in alphabets. The many languages with masculine and feminine forms can be challenging too.
