Which 1960s TV medical drama opens with the statement: "Man, woman, birth, death, infinity"?

One of my favorite TV shows when I was much, much younger. One case that has stuck with me all these years was a man coming into the ER with an ice pick sticking out of his chest, lodged in his heart. Apparently he knew better than to pull it out. We all know what happens when you do that.
