Funny show! A silly guilty pleasure to watch.

The store is not owned by Rumboldt. He is just the overseer for old Mr. Grace who appears once in awhile a companied by a young attractive nurse.
Newt
Player Meyer, a real hoot, and all the more popular in Aus because Grace Brothers is a real major department store chain!

Two words “I’m Free” they don’t make classics like this anymore!

Plus my favourite I love how each of the characters interact with each other.... especially the banter between Mrs Slocombe and Mr Lucas!!
Amethyst
Wrong!! The store is owned by the Grace Brothers, Old Mr Grace (who doesn't get about much) and Young Mr Grace who is often accompanied by his chauffeur, his attractive young secretary and his Nurse! Mr Rumbold is merely the Departmental manager of Gents ready made and Ladies intimate apparel!
I absolutely love Are You Being Served? It's one of my favourite British sitcoms!

I met Frank Thornton (Captain Peacock) once. I wish I could tell you all that it was a pleasant and enjoyable experience, but I would be lying. Not an entirely nice person at all.
