In today's Hollywood, almost 30 years later, would Oda Mae's getup when she was all "dressed up" when she went to the bank, pass approval by the politically correct posturing that is ruining artists ability to express themselves. I find the scene hilarious but feel guilty at laughing at her. One cannot immediately allow one's natural response to comedy nowadays for fear of offending someone.
