Sepoys were Muslim soldiers who found out that the musket cartridges had been greased with pork fat to keep the damp out!

it was a lie spred by the western historians. It was the first war of independence by the Indians who were oppressed under the British East India Company. Its a fact that if you leave the field unattended then it is occupied by others or by weed.
