I see responses to MuscularDemigod but I can never see what he/she said. Maybe that's for the best. lol
maxzachcoop
WiseWoman, you truly know nothing of Jim Morrison. I am surprised though that Wilde's grave is not most often visited. He seems adored by every generation.

MuscularDemigod69239, Is it possible for you to respond to anything without dragging your pious theology into it?

The greatest honor and respect you can show, is to respect the place of their burial, treat it with honor all of us deserve when we pass.
Major Audie Murphy
We were shocked to see how junky his grave (and those around it) looked.

Player #285446, I agree! I've been there and was totally dismayed that anyone could be that disrespectful ... absolutely shocking behavior! 😞
SOOTI
I find it absolutely disgusting that anyway can think it's o.k. to vandalise a grave.

jimmyhoward3535, he was moved out of the cemetery by his family and brought back to the US ! I visited that cemetery 2014/2015 and he is no longer buried there !

Read the comment.
A grave may still be there but his body isn’t.
I’m not familiar with this story but if his family has any sense they’re not letting the ghouls know where his body is interred
boogs
I've been there

Player #25874027, The soul has left the body. The body is merely the bag that our soul and consciousness resides in. The part we loved and cared about is no longer bound to an earthly body.
Debster
Player #118357, probably. I wonder if there is a page elsewhere where we can get the complete comments?

If you can’t have respect for their grave at least have respect for their memory and their families

We visited his tomb while in Paris, in 2002

It’s actually all been cleaned up now and is just a normal grave!!!
Organic Dude
I was there in 2017 and Morrison’s Grave and those around it looked fine. Great place to visit. I got the question wrong, though. I guessed Oscar Wilde’s.
Vic
Major Audie Murphy, that’s a shame for that cemetery to be messed up by vandalism and the city should pay for some security and maintenance people to be there at all times to help keep it nice and clean, protecting this landmark,,etc

nimblemoon, have you been there to see it. I have and was shocked to see how people defaced other graves with arrows pointing to Jim . crazy and sacrilegious
BANANA
I was there in 2012 and none of the graves were defaced. In fact, it was absolutely beautiful. Must b something in the water with this generation

Major Audie Murphy,
That says more about the “people” visiting that grave.
Why would they?
EcoGal
Player #118357, agreed. Most of the responses to his comments are from 2018.
SJ Zenga is a winner
I would've been ashamed if 8 got this wrong. Visited the cemetery in 2011 and it's such a busy cemetery - poor dead people. May they try to rest in peace.
Player #15552412
Player #3304597, I was there in 2018 and his grave was still there.

Of course, the omission of the dash/hyphen is much more important than the fact, that these "fans" defaced and vandalised several tombstones of deceased people, unbeknownst to them.
Including Jim's too.
But hey, now I know that it's Père(no dash/hyphen)Lachaise!
I have removed that annoying, horizontal stick, and I hope you will find a nice, warm and dark place for it.
