luckycatfay, Liqueur is different to liquor / spirits. Liqueurs are often sweeter than spirits and have fruit or herbal flavourings, for example you'd find Baileys, Cointreau , Disaronno and Pernod in the liqueur section. A lot of liqueurs are used in cocktails.

It’s pretty easy to make homemade sloe gin, or with blackberries or other fruit. Its a lovely tradition to go foraging for wild fruit in the autumn.

Natalie, That is the same idea for ice wine. The grapes are picked after a frost. The sugar in the grapes increases and you get a lovely sweet dessert wine. Vineyards in the Canadian Niagara region are famous for their ice wines.
