Wish the USA would abolish it. Messes up everyone's internal clocks!

Would anyone who finds the time change useful raise your hand? It is useless IMO

Old Native American saying. "Only the government is fool enough to believe that cutting a foot off of the top of the blanket and sewing it onto the bottom makes it a longer blanket."

wish the US would do away with it. I think it's value has dwindled as a cost savings. Most businesses have lights on whether necessary or not.

I'd prefer to stay on daylight savings simply because I hate when it gets dark so early.

We here in Saskatchewan don't have DST so we don't need to play with our clocks twice a year. The only downside is that I can never remember if we're at the same time as family in Winnipeg or family in Calgary.

nimblemoon, In northern areas of the continent, DST prevents very young children from having to go out in extreme cold and completely dark conditions in the morning. The extra hour makes a livable compromise. Most people adjust in week.

Benjamin Franklin came up with the concept so Canada makes more sense.

Needs to go away. There's no real use for it now. I didn't know Canada used it first

DSDA, The real reason we don’t have DST in Saskatchewan is that the extra hour of daylight would burn the crops.

you nay sayers do realize you can wake or sleep at whatever time is sensible for you. I wake at dawn. I don't care what time of day or year it is.

Player #41081547, yes, and fatal head injuries from changing clocks. Some elderly people don’t change their clocks and become disoriented and people of all ages miss appointments. Lots of stress and illness twice a year that is preventable by abolishing something that helps few and hurts many. Abolish Biannual Time Change!!!!

Player #9809468, Many people die because of the useless time change. Heart attacks, strokes and accidents occur during that week. Schools could instead change their hours in Winter to help the little kids— if they cared.

I'm in Oregon and today was the "Fall back" where we turn our clocks back 1 hour. Our governor wants to abolish it and I hope it happens. Most Oregonians say it's time to be rid of it.

Never thought it was a good idea from the get-go. Leave it alone; one way or the other. I have yet to see how it really benefits anyone. Oh, I know, you get longer summers, but then you get longer winters TOO.

ChampionNymph37634, time assessment / clocks is not natural order 😆 it's humans invention and DST is just an idea of manipulation of what people created.

It was bad idea. I want to sleep in the morning and I hate waking up early, in winter especially. Now I know who imagined this terrible thing as DST!!!

nimblemoon, If they ever do, I hope they keep the DST and do away with Standard Time. Love having the sun up a little longer, especially n the dreary winter months.

EU voted to abolish it. each country will decide to have standard time all year or daylight time all year. it won't be a checkerboard, it's the east and west that will make their time the same as the middle. more convenient for all

ChampionNymph37634, Even standard time is arranged by man, isn't it? Who decided when it would be midnight? Is it right in the middle of the rotation? Sounds complicated. My motto: Be flexible and you'll never get bent out of shape. Stay positive!

Player #9809468, Thanks for the comment. I was just wondering about you guys that live in the far north or far south. Daylight and dark must be rather crazy there.
