I used to live a couple of miles from him. He has an awesome house with gargoyles around it. He hands out candy to the kids on Halloween and the kids are lined up around the block. He loves his town of Bangor, Maine and really is a nice guy!

TJ SISTER, his movies arent even CLOSE to his books. after see how hollywood BUTCHERED Firestarter, I refuse to see any move of the movies they try to make of his books. Its impossible. He is far too cerebral in his writings. Read Firestarter, then see the film. you'll see what I mean. the film.

Audrey, the only time I was ever thru Bangor there was a huge house fire. We were the only travellers going toward Bangor instead of to the fire on the outskirts. Immed thought of Steven King, as I knew it was his hometown. Weird!
