Valkyries would fly/roam the battlefields searching for the soul's of the bravest fallen soldiers to take to Valhalla. Where they'll be training for Ragnarok; the Norse version of The End of Days. I'm no expert, but I am fairly certain this answer is wrong!

chose the wrong answer (name of a Norse god) cos ever since, I kept noticing the similarity of the word Valhalla to the Filipino word Bathala, which meant god.
