I love this movie. My absolute favourite is the one with Alistair Simms. My mother and I adore this movie. He was the one to portray the Scrooge character. We watch it every single Christmas.

Player#2056877: that's my favorite adaption also. Alot to be said for the classic black and white shows. When I was young all tv shows were black and white color tv wasn't out yet and even when it was our tv was still a black and white...lol

For my part, the one with George C. Scott is the best. Filmed on location and with terrific costumes and music, the cast is wholly believable. Scott’s Scrooge is also more believable than most - despite his negativity, you sense, thanks to his magnificent performance, that there IS still a heart left to save. ❤️
