My father worked on this show as a stage manager. When I was 12 years old I got to go on the set and meet everyone. I also flew in a helicopter with Red Fox and my father. Mr. Fox gave me an apple on that trip.

Fred Sanford and my (dearly missed) Grampa were almost the same person in my memory-Always called my Dad "Ya big dummy!" while raising a fist at him... My parents saw Red Foxx live, and said his humor was VERY "blue"! And it took a lot to shock my parents-I grew up listening to their Cheech and Chong records... Ah, memories!..🤯
