Actually, Christmas was stolen from pagans when it was known as Yule when church decided to destroy every trace of paganism in the world. Tradition was to bring the designated tree inside and decorate it with food so the spirits of the forest can have a warm winter and so they wouldn't be hungry.

Technically, celebrating Christmas, the cross, the ark of the covenant, shroud of Turin or any object or day is irrelevant. If you believe, it's the teachings that matters, all else is convenient reminders of what we should be doing. We shouldn't confuse the actions of the churches vs Christ.

Lori, God is the owner of time, therefore on any date his birth can be celebrated. The thing is not when he was born, but how we celebrate his birth, which we must do with sincere devotion.

Nosferatu, Jesus was not born on Christmas Day. No one knows the date of his birth. It’s not even in the Bible of the day that he was born as a literal date written.
