Was blessed enough to grow up close enough, that Yosemite and Sequoia were ( back then ) Inexpensive vacation destinations for my family...of course I didn't know how spoiled I was, but even as a young girl, I KNEW that this area was a gift to be protected at all costs....the wildfires broke my heart, but Sequoia trees have proven Darwin right again, surviving through the eons.....yea mom nature survives despite humanity...
