Johnny Guitar 1942, I used to travel that bridge twice a week from Canada when I played soccer in Buffalo, never needed a passport back then in the mid 70s. buffalo had some great old fashioned bars where you could a draft for 50 cents

Even before it was a law I always had my passport. When leaving your birth country regardless of where that is it is a form of identity of who you are. That was even when the US and Canadian border crossing did NOT require it..
